Delete data on your phone
Your settings, chosen apps, and break totals live only on your phone. To remove them:
- Open Android Settings > Apps > Eye Saver > Storage, and tap Clear storage (some phones say Clear data). Eye Saver starts fresh next time you open it.
- Or uninstall Eye Saver. Android deletes its stored data with it.
Stop future collection
Uninstalling Eye Saver stops all analytics, crash reports, and ad requests from the app. Uninstalling also removes the app instance ID that Firebase uses, so nothing new links to your earlier records. To limit ad tracking across all apps, delete your advertising ID in Android's Google or privacy settings.
Ask us to delete analytics and crash data
Email support@webdevnc.com with the subject Eye Saver data deletion request. Because Eye Saver collects no name or email, please include what you can so we can find your records:
- Your phone model and Android version
- Roughly when you installed and last used Eye Saver
- Your country
We delete matching records using the deletion tools Google provides for Firebase, and we reply by email when we're done or if we couldn't identify your data. Don't send passwords, card numbers, or Google Play order tokens.
What gets deleted
- Firebase Analytics events tied to your app instance.
- Firebase Crashlytics crash reports tied to your installation.
- Your support emails, if you ask.
What may remain
- Automatic expiry. Even without a request, Crashlytics deletes crash reports after 90 days, and Analytics deletes events at the end of our retention period (between 2 and 14 months).
- Purchases. Google keeps your Google Play purchase and subscription records under its own policies. Manage them in your Google account; we can't delete them.
- Ads. Google Mobile Ads data sits with Google. Deleting your advertising ID stops new data being tied to it. See Google's privacy policy for your options there.
More detail is in the Eye Saver privacy policy.
