Eye Saver for Android

Support

Start with the checks below when a reminder arrives late, does not appear, or interrupts the wrong moment.

The break does not appear over other apps

Open Android Settings, find Eye Saver, and confirm that “display over other apps” is allowed. Eye Saver needs this access to place the break screen above the app you are using.

The timer stops or reminders arrive late

Confirm that the Eye Saver timer is active and notifications are allowed. Check Android's battery settings for Eye Saver and remove restrictive battery optimization if your phone delays the foreground service. Some manufacturers add a separate auto-start or background-use control.

A reminder arrives during media or a call

Open Eye Saver and review Pause During Media and Pause During Calls. Android versions and media apps can report activity differently, so test the setting with the app or call type you use.

I want fewer interruptions

Increase the break interval, shorten the break, enable the warning, or allow more postpones. You can also pause Eye Saver for selected apps or stop the timer when you do not need reminders.

I want stricter breaks

Turn on Strict Mode to hide skip and postpone controls during a break. Review this choice before enabling it because the overlay will remain until the break ends.

Purchase or subscription help

Google Play processes Eye Saver purchases. Check the Google Play account used for the purchase and use Play's subscription controls for cancellation or billing changes.
